About Us
A small studio for objects you can live with.
Ihaa Arts makes ceramics, textiles, and works on paper. The studio is intentionally small: a bench, a wheel, a loom, and shelves of work in progress.
We make things for the table, the wall, and the hand. A bowl, a runner, a drawing, a pair of earrings. The work is quiet on purpose.
Materials stay simple. Clay from the region when we can get it, cotton and reed, paper that takes ink, brass and thread. Colour comes from glaze, dye, and the clay itself.

What we hold to
Small batches
We make a few of a thing, then move on. The next bowl is related, not identical.
Objects for daily use
Bowls that hold food, cloth that lives on a table, paper that can be framed or simply kept.
Care over speed
Repairs are welcome. A chip, a loose thread, or a faded dye is part of the life of the work.
